Derwent Drawing pencils are a unique collection with a soft, creamy texture, designed for artists who value depth of color and natural expression.
They are perfect for nature studies, landscapes, portraits, and any work that requires subtle tonal transitions and rich, earthy hues. The soft 5 mm core allows for effortless colour blending and encourages a free, expressive drawing style. First introduced in 1986 as a set of six classic “earth tones” inspired by the natural world, the range was later expanded to 72 colors in response to artists’ requests, offering even more creative possibilities. With their velvety application and deeply saturated shades, Derwent Drawing pencils are an essential tool for bringing warmth, depth, and natural beauty to any piece.
