Restaurohouse art brushes have been manufactured with art restorers and painters in mind. The quality of the materials used increases the life of the brushes in contact with solvents and resins commonly used in restoration work.

The brushes are made of 100% natural squirrel hair. The bristles were hand-arranged and then mounted on a short, carefully lacquered wooden handle. The handle of the brushes has an ergonomic, tapered shape, so it fits comfortably in the hand. The natural bristles offer springiness, very high absorbency and precision. 

Squirrel bristles are very soft and absorbent, which makes flat brushes made of this material perfect for applying large, even layers of water-based paints. They allow you to create smooth color transitions and delicate gradients. These brushes are often used in portrait painting to create delicate tonal transitions on skin, hair or clothing. In landscape painting, they help create soft clouds, mists and other subtle atmospheric effects.
