Amsterdam Photo Transfer Gel has been specially developed to let you incorporate laser-printed images into your artwork.
Apply a layer of the transfer medium to the printed side of your laser-printed image or directly onto the surface you’ll be working on. Keep in mind that the transferred image will appear mirrored — if your design includes text, don’t forget to mirror it first! Place the printed side of the paper face down onto your surface, press firmly, and smooth out any air bubbles. Allow it to dry for at least 24 hours. Then moisten the paper using a damp cloth or sponge and gently rub it away with your fingers or a dry cloth until the transferred image is revealed. The image can be painted over immediately. For best results, apply a glossy varnish or acrylic medium over the top to eliminate any white film that may appear.
Only suitable for laser-printed images; inkjet prints and photographs are not suitable. Can be painted over with acrylic paint. Waterproof when dry.
