Dammar varnish for oil paints, Roman Szmal brand.
Natural dammar varnish (final) is mainly used in oil and acrylic painting. Its task is to protect the paintings from dirt and dust and to give them a beautiful, long-lasting matt effect. Retouching varnish may show some aging characteristics such as slight yellowing and cracking. It can be successfully diluted with traditional spirit or turpentine. It should be used only on completely dry layers of oil, acrylic or greasy paints.
