Granulating medium for watercolors by Renesans.
Granulating liquid is a special liquid medium for watercolor paints. It gives an irregular, spotted or grainy appearance to watercolor paints, the pigments of which usually create smooth surfaces. Adding a granulation medium to paints with pigments that are already granulating will further enhance this effect. For a more pronounced effect, it is best to use a fluid-medium instead of water and paint on rough paper. A softer effect will be obtained on hot press paper with a satin finish. It is recommended to paint horizontally.
