AQUA-Ground by Schmincke is a white, coarse, lightfast, structured primer for working with watercolors.
It should be used on degreased substrates such as linen canvas, cardboard or wood. When dry, the primer forms a flexible, matte, structural coating. The primer is ready to use and should be applied with a clean palette knife to the painting substrate.
It is advisable to clean the tools with water or soap and water as soon as possible. Close immediately after use. Store in a cool and dry place. Protect against frost.
